Never posted here before, but I’ve gotten enough hate in the main that I can handle it. Naturally, the first thing I’ll do is ask someone to PS a shot that could have been taken better. If I can make this shot a little better, I want to use it as an example of my work (on teeth.) Unfortunately, she looks squinty. If someone could shop the eyes to look better, I’d Paypal $20. It would have to be on the honor system in regard to whether I liked it though, so do it at the risk of my saying it isn’t what I want.
I’ll also post up these two pictures I shot a few days ago for additional hate, although constructive criticism is appreciated.
Yes, all of them need a little judicious cropping.

Going to South America for a 2.5 week hiking/camping trip in the fall and I’m trying to sort out what would be a good all purpose lens. I’m trying to keep the weight down, so ideally I would like to being one lens, maybe two. I’m willing to spend up to $1k. My main concern is making sure I have a decently wide enough lens to get panoramas and Inca ruin shots.
Current setup:
50D
18-55mm 3.5
50mm 1.8
70-200mm 2.8
The EF-S 15-85mm IS looks great as far as focal lengths and the reviews are pretty good on it.
The 24-70 and 24-105L’s are an option, but I’m not sure they are wide enough on a crop for some good panos without having to stitch.
On another note, anybody with hiking experience care to chime in with possible necessities for a long outing? I will be bringing 4-5 batteries and several memory cards, but I’m sure there will be something worthwhile that I would never think of.

Maternity shoot good ، Maternity shoot good
Got a call a few months ago from a girl that my wife and I used to go to school with. She was pregnant and wanted some maternity pictures done… I convinced her to wait until a few weeks before she was due, and I’m glad I did.. I don’t think there would have been much "bump" if we shot when she originally called. This was just their preview… i’ve got quite a few more from the shoot I need to finish editing.

we shot at her grandparents cabin.. it was amazing… her grandfather took several original log homes from around the county, tore them down and rebuilt them into their home… place was awesome, and afforded us with some spectacular light.
moved to lighting with a single softbox
then added a hard rim light
